Almost all Classic British Motorcycles were fitted with instruments and drive cables supplied by the giant Smiths company.Part of our organisation (Thos. Richfield and Son Ltd) was at one time a subsidiary of Smiths, and when they withdrew from this market we acquired their stocks of parts, drawings, tooling, specifications etc., which places us in a unique position to service the present market.

We no longer manufacture motorcycle instruments, but most of the ones in current existence should be capable of being repaired back to original specifications. Contact us for further details.

Although the external designs and appearances of these instruments differ greatly, the internal workings fall into two main groups: Smiths/Jaeger Chronometric or Smiths Magnetic.

Speedometer and Rev. Counter drive cables are still produced by Speedograph Richfield to original specifications.
